Let there be light!!!

Two of the very remote primary schools that we supported with 6 classrooms apiece back in 2010, the Islamic school IPS Bamdzeng and the Baptist school CBC Bamdzeng, now have the benefit of electricity – thanks to a renewable energy project undertaken by SHUMAS with the help of Energy Without Borders. Also benefitting are two village health centres and a vocational training college.

EWB engineers are now training more Cameroonian graduates in the production of renewable energy sources which will mean that the remote villages need no longer be in the dark and cut off from the world.  This is sustainable development at its best.
